Hodjat's new paper in Scientific Reports
Our new paper "Functional compartmentalization in the hemocoel of insects” was published today by the journal Scientific Reports (which is Nature’s open access journal). In my opinion, it provides a new standard for understanding hemolymph pressures in insects, and is a very nice piece of work. Dr. Hodjat Pendar is the lead author, and this paper represents work he started as a Ph.D. student in the lab. Ph.D. student Khaled Adjerid and former lab undergrads Caroline Schoenewald and Jessica Aviles are also co-authors. (Jessica is now in the Ph.D. program here in biomedical engineering). Congrats everyone!
