The new Dr. Yeaton
Congratulations to the newest PhD in the lab, Dr. Isaac Yeaton! Today, Isaac defended his work on the mechanics of flying snake, showing that undulation is likely a requirement for gliding. Thanks too to co-advisor Dr. Shane Ross and the BIOTRANS program, of which Isaac was a member. Isaac is off to work as a researcher in Johns Hopkins' Applied Physics Lab (APL), joining the group of former lab member Dr. Matt Giarra. We celebrated later in the day in Isaac's honor.
