Codes
Open access to our work
Our lab publishes codes used for data analyses in our scientific papers whenever possible. We began this open practice in 2015 and plan to add other associated codes (for example, general lab techniques) as well.
We primarily use Matlab or Python for our coding. For a very nice summary of the advantages of Python over Matlab, see Lorena Barba's blog post.
Most of codes are posted directly in repository in Github on our Socha Lab account. The nice thing about Github is that it keeps track of versions, so if we have updates you can find them there, or if you want to track back to the original code in the paper, you can do that too.
